by Oscar Herrero
After performing a taranta with accompaniment from hand clappers, Óscar
Herrero explains advanced techniques for strumming using the thumb,
alzapúa (right hand technique whereby the thumb is brandished repeatedly
against the same string, usually a grave string) and tremolo
(accompaniment with the thumb, index, middle and ring fingers on the
same string, to give the impression of a faltering sound). Flamenco
harmony. Playing in bulería and alegría styles. It also includes pieces
for guitar recitals that summarise all the techniques that are explained
in the volumes 1 and 2. It comes in Spanish, English, French and
Japanese versions, and includes a booklet in standard notation and
guitar tabs.
Length: 68 minutes.
