At this level the flamenco guitar student should be perfecting technique and understanding all of the most important palos in flamenco.
CURRICULUM
OBJECTIVES:
1.Perfect flamenco guitar technique( alzapuas, tremolos, rasgueos etc.)
2.Understanding all central flamenco palos.
3.Be able to perform 2 falsetas for each central palo.
4.Improve the enjoyment of music, through playing as well as analysing and listening to different styles.
CONTENTS:
1.Understanding of different styles of attack including rasgueos and falsetas of increased difficulty.
2. Understanding all central flamenco palos.
3. Practise the most complex tabulados..
4.Acompanyment of Soleá, Bulerías, Alegrías, malagueñas, etc.
5.Interpretation of falsetas for each central palo.
6.Harmonic variations.
7. Extended exercises in the P.E.M.I. method.
EVALUATION CRITERIA:
1.Demonstrate the ability to acompany pieces from the course.
2.Memorise falsetas.
3.Demonstrate an understanding of flamenco guitar techniques.
4.Ability of differenciate each central palo..
5.Perfectly perform flamenco guitar techniques.
